master cylinder for hydraulic clutch

My 73 is being converted to 4sp. started by the PO. I have a T-10 and Howe TOB and stock pedals but no master cylinder. the master cylinders from kit vendor are $200-$400. Does anyone have other suggestions?

That seems expensive for a stock master cylinder. Is the cylinder different than stock? That price is probably for a brand new unit. Remanufactured are less - in the range of $100-$200. Check out Ecklers, Paragon, or another Corvette Parts house. Good luck!
