It's been a while so here's a bit of an update -
After not touching the Corvette for about 6 months I'm finally going to spend some time in the garage today trying to wrap up a few odds and ends. I need to get the hood remounted so I can work on the hood gap/reveal line between the hood and hood surround. I also need to install the new windshield and test fit the weatherstripping kit I bought. These are the last three items that need to be completed before I send it off to the body shop for paint. I figure it's a day or two of work (unless the Corvette gods decide to frown upon me).
The timing to send the car off to the shop is really good since. I don't expect I'll have much time to work on it this summer. A few months ago my wife and I made the decision to sell our house and build a new one. Obviously, this will suck up a lot of my free time. This spring has been exceptionally busy as we've worked to repaint the entire house, finish up all the oddball projects that we never got around to. In addition to that we're working to get rid of the 15 years of stuff that we've managed to accumulate. At the same time we've been property hunting and trying to figure our what we want to build. Suffice to say we have our hands full... Oh, and did I mention work is going gangbusters?
Overall I can't complain. Although things are busy life is good - there just isn't must time for the Corvette at the moment.
Anyway, wanted to provide a quick update so folks didn't think I was dead or something.
