Hello everybody, I'm new to this forum but it looks really slick. I have a 64 convertible and I'm starting a frame off restoration. I've restored other cars, motorcycles and even airplanes but this is my first corvette. The car is in really good shape and has no body damage at all and the frame seems to be rust free. But we will have to see more once I get it separated from the body. I'm not going for a historic restoration because it does not have the numbers matching engine and tranny in it. But I want it to look fairly original and be a good driver. I have no idea if I will do any suspension or brake upgrades but I doubt I will. I am more of an originalist.

One thing I thought I would post is if anybody has a body dolly in the DFW area that would be willing to sell or let me borrow it? I was going to build one out of wood but I thought I would ask here first.

I also would like some information about local corvette clubs. I was a corvette show a few weeks ago but I forgot the name of it. I should have talked to somebody there more about the club. Something like north texas corvette owners association or something like that.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry, I'm not in the DFW area so I can't help with club info or the dolly. Any Pics of your ride?

Welcome to the forum! If you don't find a ready-made body dolly in the area they're actually pretty simple to make.

Hi Scott,
Not been around the forum for a bit, business is booming in DFW area as you are well aware of. I'm just down Hwy 380 from you outside of Greenville. Might try ... -s/420.htm for the a Rotisserie or a body cart, some prices are very reasonable. Anyway, welcome... :)
