It should be part number 445109 for 1969-1973 vet / illustration #10 in the GM Tech assembly manual, It uses a number 8 screw and can still be purchased, pack of 10 is 3159441! Looks like you have many projects in the workshop. :) Just as MaineVette - I enjoyed the photos and it looks like 72 isn't your first time going down this road. I have been debating putting my 69 back to stock as it is a numbers matching car. This is my dilemma, it has the factory GM stamped L88 W flared rear end with no mention on the original build sheet. Live in North East Texas, so I am out of the current Texas floods. The sun is out today and should be for a while. I was beginning to think Houston was going to be a new costal town for awhile!
