Best parts supplier(s)?
Hey guys, Not sure if this is out there here already but I thought I'd ask if you have any specific recommendations on who to buy parts from. Of the catalogs I've seen, Eckler's seemed to be the most complete. I've seen both good and bad feedback, about even, so I'll probably go with them unless the...

So, in the last 4 months, how has it gone? New pics?

Re: Door overhaul
Hey Guys, Thanks for the tips. I want to get (or make) some door jacks cuz like it or not, it's just me. I bet you're onto something there, ktruff - the alignment has deteriorated over time. Plenty of flying water in Miami. And somehow 4 years have gone by in a blink! One of the guys offering to buy...

Wow that's an awesome video - thanks, Tim!
The guy makes a great point that disassembly is the perfect time to document/practice reassembly. I have a suspicion that I'll end up assembling each sub-assembly at least 3-4 times.

HAAH!! @nomadhermet - that's the spirit that beat the Japanese! :-) I'm gonna try and maintain that positive attitude! Over on autobodystore's forum I got a tip about how to kill off the mold which I'll try later this week. And on Youtube a kid said his dad recommended dabbing a light coat of fiberg...

Door overhaul
Hey Guys, One of the urgent tasks for me is to get my doors to operate as doors and upgrade to power windows. I saw a video on youtube of someone closing their vette's door and it just clicked right in place. For mine to latch closed, I have to apply FULL FORCE with my LEG 2-3 times. As you can imag...

Re: OEM carpet draped?
Hey Guys,
Thanks so much for this! Somehow I'm just not sure I like the design of that riser carpet assembly. Oh well, I guess smarter guys than me thunk it up...
I really, really appreciate you taking the time to show me!
Regards,
Chris

Removing T-Top trim?
Hi Guys,
I want to get my T-Tops disassembled and primed. Is there any trick to getting the chrome edge trip off and back on again? I guess I'll need an AIM pretty soon...
Thanks,
Chris

Hey Guys,
Since my steering column is basically a stick with a wheel on top, I want to rig up a couple temporary "race car" buttons for the systems and the starter. But, I know just about squat about it - can you give me a few tips?
Thanks,
Chris
