rybryce, I understand how you feel about replacing the old, but OK parts. Once the frame was powder coated on mine I thought we would just do the drive train and some work on the body and not much on the interior. Then you find one panel that needs replaced and it snowballs. The end result was worth...
Nomad, great question. The easy answer "if 1 had to go" it would be the wife. haha. The 2014 belongs to my brother. He just got it two weeks ago. The 2014 lives up to everything you may have read. It is just incredible. He also has a 1960. The 60 and my 71 have their own unique character for looks, ...
It is my understanding that some 71's were fitted with the amber lens during the production run. The supplier asked what date the car was produced and gave us the amber lens. Although in the end, just about every nut & bolt was replaced this was not intented to be an NCRS car. I started like many of...

My 71 just got it's new Brands Hatch Green paint applied. I posted pictures of the body coming off of the frame quite some time ago. It is finally coming together. I will try and post some new pictures. My question is in regard to your recent wiring article. My headlight vacuum relays were attached ...

After removing paint via soda blasting, has anyone used a neutralizing wash on the fiberglass? I believe you have to use the wash with metal. If so what brand or where did you purchase it.
Look under C3 General, scroll down a bit and it is under Pictures of my 71 Restoration. When the 71 was purchased, it looked just about the same as in the picture of the body coming off of the frame. The Eckler front end was already on. As I mentioned in that post, my brother is doing the restoratio...

That is a frustrating disappointment. I can understand the hesitation about the body work. Maybe you could consider another alternative. Take a look at the pictures I posted of my 71 restoration. The car has an Eckler front end. The alignment was excellent and only required a minor adjustment to the...
